Maths Graduate - BanburyStart Date: ASAP

Pay Scale: £450.00- £500.00/day

A friendly primary school in Banbury is seeking a new teaching assistant to join their team this term. Within this role you will be supporting children who need particular core subject assistance and who may be falling behind with maths and numeracy attainment.

This is a great opportunity for a maths graduate to have practical and hands on experience by assisting the class teacher across a wide range of primary year groups.

Within this maths graduate role, you will:

Support the class teacher during lesson times

Conduct activities on a small group and 1:1 basis

Tailor activities to suit specific needs

Liaise with the SENCo and class teacher to report feedback and keep track of pupil progress

Use effective behaviour management strategies

This is a great opportunity for candidates who are looking to use their learnt skills in a practical and hands- on environment. For those who are looking to pursue a teaching qualification, this is also an excellent opportunity to gain the experience needed before starting.

Experience with tutoring or working with primary aged children is desirable but not compulsory.
