Candidates must be able to demonstrate a pre-existing right to work and travel within the UK; documentary evidence will be requested at interview.Key Responsibilities Proactively keeping customers updated on existing orders and advising of delays as necessaryProcessing orders in a timely manner on our internal CRM systemLiaising with colleagues, mainly the purchasing team, to ensure smooth progress of orders through to distributionCo-ordinating customer returns and creditsEnsure all internal and external customer queries are responded to in the agreed time scalesRespond to live chat enquiries promptly and resolve efficientlyComplete daily allocated tasks as per the Customer Services Team rotaRequired Skills & Experience Computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook with the ability to learn bespoke systems and programmesExperience of sales order processing systems is useful (full training on the job)Friendly and ambitious with an excellent telephone manner and communication skillsAbility to work under pressure in a fast-paced environmentConfident and approachable, able to deal with a large volume of sales calls and customer queriesAbility to process Sales Orders on the internal CRM quickly, accurately and efficientlyFlexible and able to multi-task; organised and process-orientedAbility to prioritise and manage tasks as they come in; detail-consciousMinimum grade C in English and Maths GCSEPrevious experience in a customer-facing/focused role (preferred)Experience in a B2B sales environment (desirable)What we offer Employer matched 5% pension contributionLife assuranceDiscretionary annual bonus25 days annual leave plus bank holidaysReward GatewayCycle to work schemeEmployee Assistance ProgrammeProfessional training contributionsCalendar of wellbeing eventsHours of Work Our company operates on a two-shift basis (on-site) which rotates weekly to ensure the best service for our customers. Shift times are: Week 1: Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:30; Week 2: Monday to Thursday 09:00 to 17:30; Every Friday 08:00 to 16:30.
