Role Overview

The Junior Researcher plays a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of executive search mandates. Working closely with experienced consultants and researchers, you will contribute to market mapping, candidate identification, and insight generation. This is an entry-level opportunity offering exposure to senior leadership appointments and a structured pathway to progress within the executive search profession.

Key Responsibilities:Research & Market Mapping

Conduct detailed research to understand client briefs, market dynamics, and leadership structures.

Develop target company and candidate lists using internal databases and external research tools.

Support the creation of longlists and talent maps, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness.

Project Support

Prepare briefing packs, status reports, and candidate summaries for internal and client use.

Maintain up-to-date information within CRM and research systems.

Assist in managing project timelines and deliverables to ensure smooth execution.

Insight & Analysis

Analyse company structures, leadership teams, and market movements to identify potential talent.

Provide relevant insights to inform search strategy and client discussions.

Track sector trends and senior appointments to support business development initiatives.

Work closely with consultants, researchers, and project teams to ensure excellence in delivery.

Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and best practice development across the research function.

Skills & Experience:

Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

Analytical thinker with a genuine interest in business and leadership.

Confident user of online research tools, databases, and Microsoft Office.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Degree in business, psychology, or a related discipline.

Previous experience or internship within executive search, recruitment, or consulting.
