With teams operating out of Shoreditch, London, and our Head Office in Loughborough, Midlands, our expansion reflects our commitment to raising the standards within the security industry.We are currently seeking Event Stewards nationwide to join our team for ad-hoc roles across various events & festivals. Our services range from supporting major events, including working with Ride London, School Games & Glastonbury as well as over 35 other festivals annually, to providing tailored security management for corporate clients and universities in South and West London. If you possess the high level of expertise and professionalism we strive for at Alliance, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to and thrive within our diverse portfolio of clients and sites.Key Information Position : Event Steward2025 Hourly Rate :NationwideLondonLocation : NationwideContract : Casual Contract (Ad Hoc based on the demand across the company)Example Roles: Directional Way-findingFire Watch Tower StewardWristband CheckerStaff Welfare SupportJob Description n your role as an event safety steward, you will be expected to,Provide and promote the highest level of customer care and service.Ensure all customers are safe and that management are contacted if made if an issue is identified.Familiarise yourself with the layout of a site/venue and the available facilities including first aid, welfare facilities in order to deliver and assist the public with relevant information.Understand their role and duties including Health and Safety responsibilities in particular to those with special needs and childrenAttend pre-event briefings to ascertain the event detailsCarry out pre-event checksMonitor for signs of overcrowdingReport any disturbances or incidentsReport any medical incident by raising the alarm and providing the necessary and appropriate help as requiredRequirements Display our values - Reliability & Trust, Leadership & Communication, Competence & TrainingHave a positive attitude towards working in sometimes challenging atmospheres.Customer FocusedFluent in written and verbal English.Display initiative and remain calm under pressureBe willing to work long shifts, sometimes 12 hour days whilst remaining professional (welfare support and breaks will be provided to our team throughout every shift).You should be polite, courteous and helpful to all customers. Step 4 Bookings Whilst you complete your training, you will be give the oppertunity to apply for events that you would like to work at in the 2024 festival season.
