We have a wonderful opportunity for a Senior Support Worker to join our caring and supportive team at Russell Hill.

At Russell Hill, we are an epilepsy specialist care provider with experience in supporting people with other complex needs. We are set in a spacious, well-equipped and modern home with 9 bedrooms. We're committed to helping every person we support feel safe, happy, empowered enabling them to live the best life possible.

What you'll be working :

42 hours per week on a rota basis

What you'll be doing

Provide direct care and support as part of a multi-disciplinary team

Assist the nursing team with the assessment of individual's needs, planning, delivery and evaluation of care

Work and act as a key member of the team, supporting each patient in achievement of their planned outcomes

Undertake clinical work-related tasks as delegated by senior nursing staff, following appropriate training and assessment of competency

Maintain accurate, legible records of care provided, based upon the care plan

Be actively involved in meeting own and team objectives through encouraging and supporting others

Develop and maintain good working relationships with residents, their families, colleagues and any relevant professionals

What you'll have

A genuine interest in providing the best person centre care possible

A NVQ in Health and Social care from Level 3 onwards is desirable
