OverviewWe are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic, experienced candidate who can provide operational waste management, waste technical guidance and porter management to a large hospital in London. The successful candidate will be a team player who can liaise with the client to identify, develop and implement service improvements.
Responsibilities
Provide operational support and technical guidance to enable the hospital to comply with national waste regulations and management policy.
Apply knowledge of porter and waste services in hospitals and address the daily operational challenges and opportunities.
Influence and educate staff and service providers in regard to their waste management responsibilities.
Reduce waste arising and related costs, and increase opportunities to re-use and recycle throughout the site.
Qualifications
Working knowledge of waste legislation
Specialist knowledge of Healthcare waste management
Experience of effective management of budgets
Experience working in the NHS in relevant fields or in a post related to waste management in large and complex organisations
