Job description

Our Client a supplier to many high street retailers, is looking for an enthusiastic Junior Womenswear Designer to join their busy team.

Junior Womenswear Designer - The Role

Assist senior designers – Research current fashion trends to create forward-thinking, commercially viable designs.

Design across a broad range of categories on ladieswear and Kidswear.

Produce detailed technical CADs and comprehensive tech packs using Adobe Illustrator.

At least 3 + years of experience working for a supplier within the Design Team

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience working with suppliers and manufacturers, particularly in Bangladesh or similar production environments.

Knowledge of garment construction, fabric properties, and technical design.

Proficiency in design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CAD software).

Strong understanding of fashion trends, colour theory, and garment functionality.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Ability to manage multiple design projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a creative approach to design.
