Structural Engineer - Temporary Works

London, WC2

£45k-£65k per annum.

A well-established, highly reputable specialist Temporary Works Design Consultancy has an opening for a Structural Engineer to join their proficient and experienced team at their Central London office.

Responsibilities

Lead design of temporary works, including demolition, needling, propping, façade retentions, foundation designs, stability and alteration works, basements, geotechnical works and some permanent works.

Work on a variety of large building projects involving high-profile and complex buildings.

Deliver high-quality design solutions in a contractor-led, often reactive work environment.

Qualifications

At least a few years of experience as a structural engineer working in buildings environment.

Full right to work in the UK and live within commuting distance of London.

Temporary works design experience is preferable but not essential.

Excellent communication skills and English language ability.

Desire to achieve Chartered status and willingness to undertake relevant training.
