Trade Counter Assistant / Driver – Eurocell plcHours: 44 per week – Permanent; 7 am–4:30 pm Mon–Fri, 8 am–12 pm (Saturday rota).

Salary: £27,936 basic salary per year. Bonus/OTE: up to £31,536 per year.

Base: Site based.

Responsibilities

Hands‐on support with day‐to‐day branch operations alongside the Branch Manager and Supervisor.

Trade counter sales to achieve sales targets, communicating product knowledge to customers.

Exceptional customer service and support to new and existing customers.

Picking, loading and delivering products via Eurocell 3.5‐tonne flatbed trucks and LWB vans.

Route planning, safe driving and keeping the company vehicle clean.

Supporting the Branch Manager with actions and activities on time, in full.

Compliance with Health & Safety, company policies and procedures.

Ensuring excellence in customer service, operational standards and branch sales targets.

Supporting the delivery of sales targets while developing and maintaining positive customer relationships.

Assisting with the delivery of branch operations.

Providing support & assistance to Branch colleagues as required.

Maintaining branch standards – warehouse and stock management, front‐of‐house cleanliness, point of sale.

Qualifications

Passion and energy to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve business targets.

Hands‐on, customer‐focused approach, confident and happy to serve customers and proactively engage with potential future customers.

Commercial approach to drive sales and maximise margins, ensuring customers walk away happy.

Good organisational skills, with ability to prioritise and use own initiative.

Confident IT user, experience with MS Office and industry standard software such as SAP.

A full and valid driving licence essential; a FLT licence a distinct advantage.

Previous branch stock‐take experience a distinct advantage.

Comfortable working in a small team and occasionally alone.

Experience in a similar role, ideally in trade, builder's merchant, retail, glazing or uPVC environment a distinct advantage.
