Job description
A Sous Chef is required to join the team of chefs working in the kitchen of a Retirement Village on a temporary basis.It is essential that you have had a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) completed within the last year and a Current Level 2/3 Food Safety Certificate.The restaurant has a good reputation for quality dining and is open to owners, their family and friends, and club members. In this role of Sous Chef, you will be expected to assist in the running of the kitchen and develop your managing skills.Requirements:A Sous Chef who has been working in fresh food kitchens.Good communication skills.A positive 'can do' attitude.In line with the requirements of the Asylum & Immigration Act 1996, all applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK. Documented evidence of the eligibility will be required from candidates as part of the recruitment process.
