Prinicipal/Lead Psychologist

Salary - £72,000

Full time (37.5 Hours)

We are partnered with a well-established organisation within the mental health sector that are seeking to expand their team by appointing an current Principal/Lead Psychologosit. This site provides low- and medium-secure care for adult women with personality disorders and mental illness, as well as Psychiatric Intensive Care (PICU).

Job responsibilities;

• Undertake highly skilled assessments and make informed treatment decisions, directly or through supervision, using a range of theoretical and therapeutic models while considering complex historical and developmental factors
• Provide leadership and direction for the Psychology team within the service
• Establish and maintain clear, effective systems for managing new referrals and admissions
• Ensure adherence to referral and admission processes across the team
• Supervise and support team members in assessment, formulation, and therapeutic case management
• Offer guidance to enhance the quality and consistency of clinical practice
• Develop and implement systems to support the efficient delivery of the Psychology service
• Ensure all practices align with clinical governance requirements, professional standards, and departmental procedures

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• HCPC Registered
• Previous experience as a Principal / Lead Psychologist
