Recruitment Manager
We’re looking for an experienced and results-driven Recruitment Manager to lead from the front. You will combine personal billing excellence with team leadership, driving performance across both client and candidate delivery while building a high performing, accountable culture. Your day-to-day:
Client & Business Development
- Build and own senior, high value client relationships, focusing on long term partnerships and repeat business
- You will be responsible for managing a full 360 desk, drive a consistent pipeline of high-quality roles for both yourself, and the team
- Lead from the front in business development activity, setting the standard for quality and execution
- Support the team in winning, qualifying, and converting new opportunities
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, influencing hiring strategy and process
- Collaborate across teams to grow key accounts and expand Akkar’s market presence
Candidate Delivery
- Build and maintain a high quality, well engaged network of niche candidates
- Set and uphold standards for candidate quality, engagement, and delivery across the team
- Support consultants in managing complex or high value processes
- Ensure a consistently strong candidate experience across all interactions
- Develop forward looking talent pipelines aligned to client demand
Leadership & Performance
- Lead, coach, and develop consultants to improve performance and capability
- Set clear expectations and maintain accountability across activity, quality, and outcomes
- Use data and KPIs to identify trends, address gaps, and drive performance improvements
- Run structured 1:1s, performance reviews, and development planning sessions
- Address underperformance early and directly, while recognising and retaining high performers
- Contribute to hiring, onboarding, and development of new team members
- Maintain strong operational discipline across pipeline, process, and systems
- Lead from the front through consistent personal billing and execution
