Company
Leading specialist engineering contractor delivering complex, high-profile commercial city centre projects across London. Work includes Deconstruction, complex Cut & Carve, Temporary Works, Piling, Groundworks, Basement construction, Concrete & steel structures. Working as a principal contractor.
Role
Working with the wider preconstruction team, you will lead the estimating function. Pricing tenders from circa £5m to £20m, shaping and influencing the winning strategy, identifying and managing risks and opportunities whilst collaborating to deliver competitive, high quality submissions.
• Lead and support a small estimating team whilst taking ownership of key tenders, remaining hands-on
• Shape bid strategies and influence winning approaches
• Collaborate closely with operations to ensure buildable, competitive solutions • Both self-delivered and subcontract package pricing
About you
• Maybe you are already working for a specialist engineering contractor or maybe you have main contractor experience and are looking for an opportunity to focus purely on the early complex civils and structural packages - (if you are from a main contractor you must have extensive experience in pricing civils and structures packages)
• You may already be managing a team or you may be a Senior Estimator looking for the opportunity to step up.
