In this role youll work 1 to 1 with a male client who has an acquired brain injury, helping him rebuild skills, access the community and live a meaningful, rewarding life.

As a Rehabilitation Support Worker your role will include:

• Supporting a male client with mobility, community access and social activities
• Assisting with rehabilitation goals and therapy programmes set by physiotherapists
• Prompting and assisting with personal care and daily living tasks
• Administering medication
• Encouraging engagement in local activities such as Headway, Bingo, Warm Hub and family visits
• Working in the clients home and out in the local Barrow community

What were looking for in a Rehabilitation Support Worker

• Previous experience in a support worker role
• NVQ / Diploma Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent experience)
• Full UK driving licence essential
