The Role

As a Senior Design Engineer, you’ll lead the design and development of engineering components and assemblies from concept through to production, working closely with customers and internal engineering teams.


You will:

  • Design innovative engineering components and assemblies to customer specifications
  • Create detailed 3D CAD models and technical drawings
  • Develop new product concepts and engineering solutions
  • Improve existing products and manufacturing processes
  • Ensure designs meet safety and regulatory standards
  • Present concepts and final designs to customers and stakeholders
  • Support and mentor junior engineers within the design team
  • Work closely with mechanical and project teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget


What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Senior Design Engineer or experienced Design Engineer ready to step up
  • Strong mechanical design and product development background
  • Solid understanding of Design for Manufacture (DFM) principles
  • Experience with 3D CAD systems (Siemens NX or similar)
  • Experience working with PLM systems such as Teamcentre
  • Good understanding of engineering safety and compliance standards
  • Engineering degree or equivalent professional qualification
  • SC Clearance or eligibility to obtain it
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
