M4 Recruitment is currently seeking a dependable and motivated HGV Class 2 (Category C) Driver to join a busy haulage operation based in Cheltenham.

This is a multi-drop, temperature-controlled delivery role distributing fresh products to retail customers across the region.
You will play a key part in ensuring deliveries are completed safely, accurately and on time, while providing excellent customer service.
Newly qualified drivers are encouraged to apply full training and structured development are available to support long-term career progression in professional HGV driving.
Salary: £36,000 £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience) Driver Bonus: Performance & attendance bonus available (paid monthly) Overtime: Paid at enhanced rates Hours: 48 hours per week (average roster) Working Pattern: 5 shifts per week Shift Times: Night shifts, typically starting between 23:00 02:00 Key Responsibilities Safely operate HGV Class 2 (Category C) vehicles in compliance with UK driving laws, Driver CPC and tachograph regulations Complete multi-drop deliveries across the region Ensure correct stock rotation and maintain product quality Conduct daily vehicle checks and report defects promptly Load and unload goods safely, including manual handling and use of handling equipment Follow all health & safety, food hygiene and security procedures Work independently while maintaining strong customer relationships Provide cover for colleagues during holidays or absences as required This is a physically active role involving night driving and working within a temperature-controlled distribution environment.
