Class 1 (C+E) HGV Drivers Required BarnsleyImmediate Starts Available

We are currently recruiting reliable and professional Class 1 Drivers for our client based in the Barnsley area. This role involves the safe transportation of caged and palletised deliveries, with opportunities for both day and night shifts.

Key Benefits:

• Highly flexible shifts available Monday to Sunday (weekend rates differ from weekdays to reflect the schedule)
• Competitive pay rate of £16.50 per hour, plus holiday pay and paid breaks
• Immediate start dates for the right candidates

A typical shift includes:

• Early starts from 0230am
• Conducting thorough vehicle safety checks and ensuring loads are correctly secured
• Occasional manual handling (handball) of goods
• Potential to operate Class 2 vehicles when required

Essential Requirements:

• Full Category C+E (Class 1) entitlement
• No more than 6 penalty points on your licence, with no TT, DR, CD, or IN endorsements
• Minimum 12 months recent Class 1 driving experience
• Valid Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph (DQC) card
• Strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and professionalism
