Apprenticeship Team Leader - Construction - Further EducationSalary: Up to 43,225

Pension: NESTHours: Full time, 37 hours per week

Annual Leave: 30 days plus bank holidaysContract: Permanent

About the RoleWe are seeking an Apprenticeship Team Leader to support the Construction Apprenticeship Team while managing a smaller cohort of Engineering Apprentices. The role involves working closely with employers to deliver high-quality training and assessment, ensuring apprentices are motivated, supported, and successfully achieve their Apprenticeship Standard.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver inductions and initial assessments, creating individual learning plans and agreeing realistic completion targets with employers.

Build and maintain strong relationships with employers and external partners to support learner recruitment and engagement.

Provide information, advice and guidance to ensure timely achievement of apprenticeship standards and SMART objectives.

Assess knowledge, skills and behaviours in line with apprenticeship requirements.

Manage a caseload of learners, supporting them through to successful End Point Assessment.

Deliver or support NVQs, commercial training and upskilling where required.

Collaborate with the Business Development team to identify new employer opportunities.

Contribute to the planning and delivery of a structured curriculum that meets learner needs.

Requirements

A Level 3 (or higher) qualification in a construction subject.

TAQA Level 3 (Assessors) or A1 assessor qualification.

Experience in assessing.

Level 2 (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
