HGV Driver

Job description

Our client is looking for an LGV/HGV Driver in the NE4 Region.

The role involves conducting daily vehicle safety checks, ensuring loads are secure, complying with transport regulations, and completing delivery documentation. Working independently, the driver maintains high safety standards while representing the organisation professionally during deliveries.

Main Requirements:
Valid LGV Licence (Category C or C+E)
Driver CPC qualification (Certificate of Professional Competence)
Digital Tachograph Card
Ability to complete daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
Understanding of load security and safe loading procedures
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Strong awareness of health & safety standards

Shift Pattern:
Monday - Friday (6am - 4pm) 37 hours a week
