HGV Class 1 driver

*At least 12 months road experience on Class 1 required*

24-7 Recruitment Services acting as an Employment Business are currently recruiting for experienced Class 1 HGV drivers on behalf of our client in Stoke-On-Trent (ST4).

We require Class 1 HGV Drivers to work on full week basis. Working out of their RDC you will be trunking goods to a client stores throughout the UK. On all of the deliveries handball is required.

HGV Class 1 driver will require:

• Hold valid a Class 1 / C+E License
• No more than 6 points (No DD's, DR's, TT's or IN's)
• Hold valid Tacho and CPC cards

HGV Class 1 driver work will involve:

• Working for one of fastest growing business in the Midlands, our client offers new modern trucks and opportunity to gain experience
• 40-55 hours per week (on average)
• Immediate start available
• 4 hour assessment required (unpaid)
• induction (paid)

Available shifts are:

• PM Sunday to Thursday and Tuesday to Saturday
• AM Monday to Friday and Tuesday to Saturday
• AdHoc shifts with different start times and shift patterns might be considered

HGV Class 1 driver will receive:

PAYE rates

• Days £16.89 per hour
• OT £22.46 per hour
• Nights £19.60 per hour
• OT nights £26.07 per hour

Weekly Pay - Every Friday

28 days accrued annual leave per annum (roughly 2.5 days a month)
