HGV Class 1 Driver

Job description

CDL has been meeting the staffing needs of transport and warehouse businesses for over 20 years.We are currently looking for HGV 1 drivers to cover contracts in Bristol and the surrounding areas.

Responsibilities include;
completing vehicle checks and reporting defects
providing a professional service, ensuring goods are delivered safely and efficiently
completing relevant paperwork relating to deliveries and collections
navigating busy roads to optimise timely deliveries
communicating well with clients and customers

This position requires the following:
full HGV C+E licence
valid driver qualification card (CPC)
valid digital tachograph card
right to work in the UK
good communication skills

Candidates must present themselves in a professional manner, have a positive attitude towards work and be able to work with time-sensitive deliveries/collection
