Anti-Social Behaviour Team Leader (6 Months temp)

Overviewhis is a dynamic and rewarding role where no two days are the same, and where your work will directly help improve the safety and wellbeing of our residents.

Responsibilities

Lead, support and develop the ASB Officers to deliver excellent customer‐focused services.

Manage complex and challenging ASB cases, ensuring legal processes and customer support are handled to best practice standards.

Build and maintain strong partnerships with Police, Social Care, Health services and other agencies.

Attend court to represent the Council professionally and accurately.

Review and improve ASB processes, guidance and customer satisfaction measures.

Provide training on ASB procedures across the organisation.

Monitor performance, maintain accurate records, and prepare reports for senior managers.

Ensure safeguarding concerns are identified and acted upon appropriately.

Support other team leaders and services across other functions of the Landlord Services team as required.

Qualifications

Significant experience in managing and resolving ASB within a local authority, social housing or a similar setting.

Skills and experience in managing teams and performance.

Confidence when working with conflict, disputes and complex situations.

Extensive knowledge in ASB, crime, disorder and housing legislation.

Strong communication skills and who can build relationships at all levels.

Empathy, resilience and able to make sound decisions under pressure.

Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and housing management systems.

A Level 4 qualification (or equivalent) and can demonstrate continuing professional development.

Access to a motorised vehicles with a full driving licence.
