We’re recruiting on behalf of established fire and security contractors across Cornwall & Devon who deliver high-quality solutions to both commercial and residential clients. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, there are opportunities available for both Installation Engineers and Service Engineers.

We’re looking for engineers who take pride in their work, whether that’s delivering clean, compliant installations or providing reliable maintenance and fault-finding support.

The Role

You’ll be working across a variety of sites throughout Cornwall, carrying out either installation or service work (or a mix of both depending on experience).

All work must be completed to a high standard, in line with current industry regulations, with a strong focus on professionalism and customer service.

What You’ll Be Doing

Installation Focus:

  • Ensuring all installations meet current standards and compliance requirements
  • Working to project deadlines and technical specifications
  • Completing accurate installation and compliance documentation
  • Providing professional system handover and client communication

Service / Maintenance Focus:

  • Servicing and maintaining fire systems
  • Diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs
  • Completing routine inspections and compliance checks
  • Ensuring systems remain fully operational and compliant
  • Providing clear reports and communication to clients

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 1 year's experience in the fire and security industry
  • Experience in either installation, service, or both
  • Strong knowledge of fire systems, intruder alarms, CCTV, and/or access control
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full UK driving licence

If you’re looking for a stable role with long-term progression and the opportunity to work across a range of high-quality fire and security projects in Cornwall, we’d be happy to discuss the opportunities available.
