Compliance Specialist

Elevation Recruitment Group are partnered with a leading multi‑channel distributor of business supplies across the UK and Ireland. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Compliance Officer to play a key role in ensuring that all products sourced, purchased, and distributed meet regulatory, safety, and environmental compliance standards across a global supply chain.

This is a central role within the organisation, acting as the subject‑matter expert for product compliance across UK, European, and Far East markets. The successful candidate will combine strong technical regulatory knowledge with supplier engagement and a proactive approach to risk management.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Manage regulatory compliance for all products across multiple regions
• Maintain expert knowledge of key frameworks including EUDR, PPWR, RoHS, and the SUP Directive
• Lead supplier compliance and due diligence across the UK, Europe, China, and Southeast Asia
• Work with Buying, Category, and Product Development teams to integrate compliance into decision‑making
• Monitor regulatory changes and communicate impacts across the business
• Support continuous improvement of compliance processes and governance

I'm keen to speak to candidates with the following experience:

• Proven experience managing product compliance within UK, EU, and Far East supply chains
• Strong understanding of EUDR, PPWR, RoHS, and SUP regulatory requirements
• Experience within office products, consumer goods, distribution, or retail
• Familiarity with additional regulations such as REACH, WEEE, FSC, or PEFC
