- Shunter Driver Immediate Start Location: Thetford Pay Rate: £16.36 £18.00 per hour holiday pay Schedule: Monday to Friday (Rotating shifts) Week 1: 06:00 14:00 Week 2: 14:00 22:00 We are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Shunter Driver for our client based in Thetford .
This is an ongoing position with an immediate start available for the right candidate.
The Role: Yard shunting duties using an HGV Class 1 vehicle Moving trailers safely around the yard and into loading bays Ensuring vehicles are positioned correctly for loading and dispatch Working closely with the warehouse and transport team Following all site health and safety procedures Requirements: Valid HGV Class 1 (CE) licence Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card Previous shunting or yard experience preferred Ability to work the rotating shift pattern Must complete a driving assessment prior to starting What We Offer: Competitive hourly pay £16.36 £18.00 xohmjla per hour Holiday pay on top of hourly rate Monday to Friday work no weekends Ongoing work with immediate start available If you are a reliable Class 1 driver looking for stable ongoing work, we would love to hear from you.
