Class 2 Driver - Temp to Perm!

The Role:

HireGiant are looking for a reliable and professional HGV 2 Driverto work with our client Near Corby, Northamptonshire. This is an ongoing role leading to a permanent opportunity for the right driver. You will be doing 8-10 deliveries per day, delivering meat to Butchers and Pubs across the east and south midlands.

Your responsibilities as a HGV 2 driver will include:

• Completingdeliveries to pubs and butchers

• Driving the class 2 curtainside trailer in a safe manor

• Responsible of handball of all meat deliveries either hanging meat or in boxes

• Ensuring all paperwork and PODs are completed accurately

• Maintaining excellent customer service standards as this is a customer facing role.

Requirements for the Class 2 driver:

• ValidHGV 2 licence

• Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph card

• Strapping and Reversing competence

• New pass HGV 2 Drivers welcome training and support provided

Hours & Pay for the Class 2 LGV Driver:

• Start time 05:00am - 07:00am

• Shifts: 8-10 hoursdepending on route

• PAYEPay rate:£16.00 - £17.00 P/H
