Job description

Ideal Recruit is currently recruiting Class 1Shunter Driversfor a well-established client based inSheffield.

Job Role

• Safely moving trailers and vehicles around the yard

• Coupling and uncoupling trailers

• Positioning vehicles at loading bays

• Carrying out basic vehicle checks

• Ensuring all movements are completed safely and efficiently

• Following site safety rules and procedures at all times

Candidate Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must:

• Hold avalid UK driving licence(HGV licence preferred but not essential, depending on site)

• Have previousshunter or yard experience(preferred)

• Be confident manoeuvring vehicles in a busy yard environment

• Have a good understanding ofhealth & safety

• Be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

Pay & Shifts

• Competitive PAYE rates Days £16.50 and Nights £17.92

• Shifts:

• Friday, Saturday and Sunday

• Ongoing work with potential for long-term opportunities
