HireGiant are currently looking for an HGV Class 1 Driver to join the team in Avonmouth, Bristol, you will be driving either a Class 1 or Class 2 vehicle completing 5 to 10 drops on pallets using the tail lift and pump truck. Starting at 8am a typical shift could be 9 or 10 hours, working Monday to Friday.

You will need to check the load is secure, complete vehicle checks and paperwork. The truck is loaded for you, however some handball will be involved to complete deliveries.

We have both ongoing or Ad-Hoc opportunities available for HGV Class 1 drivers, with the possibility of leading to a permanent role, working with a great team and a company who value their employees.

Hours and pay

• Working Monday to Friday starting at 8am and usually working 9 or 10 hours.
• £17 per hour paid weekly every Friday.
• Overtime available at weekends, paid at an enhanced rate.

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence, with category C+E.
• Valid Tacho and CPC.
• Safety boots and high viz.
• An understanding of health and safety.
• The ability to complete heavy lifting when required.
