HGV Class 2 Night Driver

Job description

HGV Class 2 drivers required for ongoing, full-time shifts, work based from a depot in Severn Beach, BS35.

This role offers excellent work-life balance, as the rota is fixed in advance, and you will be allocated 5 days off in a row once a month!

• £41,508 per annum
• 48 hours per week - 4 x 12 hour shifts
• 12 hours payment guaranteed per shift
• 5thshift available as overtime £24.95 per hour
• Day or night shift available, start times vary from 0400 - 0700 or 17:00 - 21:00
• Weekly pay, start ASAP
• Bonus and pay rise annually
• Holiday pay on accrual basis
• Depot provides unlimited hot / cold drinks for drivers
• Free parking on site

About the job

• Daily vehicle checks
• Multi-drop delivery service between 4 and 7 drops daily
• Using a Zebra device during shift to record all delivery
• Can involve some heavy lifting - loaded on dollies and cages

The right candidate

• UK Class 2 driving licence, Full CPC and Digi card
• Complete a driving assessment (fully paid) prior to starting
• No more than 3 points on your licence
• Comfortable with heavy lifting
• 6 months of experience in a similar role
• Excellent communication skills
