The award‐winning Train to Fit programme, run by the Experis Academy, offers opportunities for delivery‐focused individuals to upskill or reskill into Supportability Engineering.

Open to candidates of any age and industry background. We actively encourage applicants with experience looking to pivot into this highly regulated, highly valued engineering discipline.

Train to Fit empowers talented individuals into long‐term roles supporting a major international engineering organisation on UK defence programmes. You will be trained by industry experts and may become a permanent member of the client's workforce at the end of the programme.

Training will commence in June 2026.

Role of a Supportability Engineer:

Day to Day Responsibilities will include:

Conducting Logistic Support Analysis

Develop Integrated Supply Support solutions

Liaising with Inventory Management

Produce and review Technical Documentation

Development of Maintenance Planning

Identification of Support and Test Equipment

Identify suitable Packaging, Handling, Storage and Transportation

Conduct and manage Disposal

Management of Obsolescence

To fit the minimum criteria to apply, applicants must possess the following attributes:

Basic knowledge of STEM principles via a degree or operational experience in a relevant science or engineering discipline or industry, including HM Forces.

Be a driven individual who wishes to make a positive impact and a desire to see successful outcomes.

Strong communication and interpersonal functional skills.

Taking ownership of problems whilst working diligently towards resolution.

Proactive worker with capability of operating with minimal supervision.

Be a good communicator, both written and oral, and able to liaise at all levels with customers and stakeholders.

Eligible and willing to undertake security clearance.
