OverviewDepartment/College: Student Data and Timetabling, Academic and Student Administration Directorate.

Location: Brunel University London, Uxbridge Campus

Salary: Grade 7 from £40,757 to £47,921 inclusive of London Weighting with potential to progress to £52,067 per annum, inclusive of London Weighting, through sustained exceptional contribution (pro-rata if part-time).

Hours: Full-time

Contract Type: Permanent

RoleWe are seeking a highly organised and detail‐driven Student Data Operations Officer to play a pivotal leadership role within our Academic and Student Administration directorate. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a data‐rich environment and is motivated by improving processes, enhancing service quality, and supporting colleagues across the student lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Lead the day‐to‐day operations of the Student Data team, managing workloads, supporting team development, and ensuring the delivery of efficient and accurate student information services.

Oversee and continually improve programme setup and maintenance processes, ensuring that programme data is consistent, high‐quality, and aligned with institutional and regulatory requirements.

Manage Brunel's fees matrix, including annual updates, system configuration, and quality assurance.

Act as a key point of expertise for complex fee queries and maintain compliance with sector‐wide regulations.

Drive continuous improvement across processes, support strategic planning through data insights, and work collaboratively with colleagues across academic and professional services areas.

Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels and demonstrate strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
