Retail Assistant - Full Time

Job description

We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in George St, Worcester. The position is a permanent 39 hour full time role working a variety of shifts, 5 days a week. Full time employees are expected to be fully flexible in their availability, including weekends.

As a Retail Assistant you will:

Make customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and hello.

Help customers find the items they are looking for.

Provide fast and friendly service at the tills, offering to pack and thanking them on leaving.

Handle stock with care while working deliveries, placing products into freezers and shelves.

Assist your team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep the shop safe, clean and tidy.

Requirements

A friendly, positive, hard‐working attitude to work.

Enjoy being busy with a variety of tasks – from deliveries to till service to cleaning and stock rotation.

Reliability – your colleagues and customers depend on you to do your best on each shift.

Flexibility with shifts; rota is planned three weeks in advance and commitments outside work are considered.
