Associate Director - International Corporate Tax Advisory – Location: UK wideOur client is a globally connected professional services firm recognised for its collaborative culture, technical expertise, and commitment to innovation. Operating across multiple jurisdictions, the organisation supports businesses as they navigate the challenges of an increasingly complex international tax environment. They are seeking an experienced Senior Manager specialising in international corporate tax to join their growing advisory practice. This position focuses on delivering high‐value tax advice to major multinational groups, including both UK‐headquartered and overseas organisations. Joining this team means working alongside highly skilled professionals who regularly advise on substantial and complex cross‐border tax matters. Opportunity

Pre‐transaction restructuring and post‐transaction integration

Cross‐border M&A structuring

Legal entity simplification and rationalisation

Redesign of operating and supply chain models

Capital and financing structure optimisation

Intellectual property ownership planning and reliefs

Navigating global tax developments such as BEPS and Pillar Two

Supporting organisations through tax authority interactions and dispute resolution

Key Responsibilities

Building and maintaining strong client relationships and identifying new opportunities for growth

Leading technically complex advisory projects with a clear commercial focus

Overseeing the quality and delivery of client service

Developing internal and external networks to support practice growth

Leading, coaching, and mentoring junior team members

Contributing to the strategic and operational development of the wider tax practice, including staff deployment and capability building

Skills and Attributes for Success

Ability to deliver high‐quality, pragmatic advice and manage nuanced tax issues

Strong negotiation skills and confidence navigating complex cross‐border matters

Required Experience

Strong UK corporate tax technical background with expertise in cross‐border issues, including:

CFC rules

Anti‐hybrid legislation

Loan relationship rules

Intellectual property tax planning

Pillar Two

Professional qualifications preferred: ATT / ACA / CA / CTA

Experience managing and developing junior team members
