Full-Time Visual Merchandising Intern - London, UK

We are currently seeking a VM Intern to complete a 6 month internship in London with an opportunity to work at our Harrods, Selfridges and New Bond Street Boutique. The intern will report to the VM Management team and take a supporting role on all VM activities.

Note: Candidates must be available to work full-time 40 hours per week, with Monday to Sunday flexibility. Available to start immediately and has the right to work in the UK.

Job responsibilities

To assist the Visual Merchandiser on site when changing the displays

To be able to re-merchandise selected areas independently (following guidelines and training by the Visual Merchandiser)

To take care of the image of the boutique on a daily basis: to visit all of the departments in the morning, enforcing and overseeing product replenishment and to check that highest standards of the departments are respected (e.g. Steaming of RTW pieces).

Collaborate with the VM team to prioritize tasks and adapt quickly to urgent needs.

Events And Installations

To support the setup of all promotional events, trunk show, show room presentations and overnight installations when changing the concept.

Overnight work would be required up to Midnight and transportation provided at the end of the installation.

Administrative Support

To complete inventory and management of the props areas in stores to be tidy and maintained.

To take pictures of the display for the retail team with the latest changes.

Profile

Retail VM first experience of minimum 6 months.

Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively.

Ability to work as part of a team.

Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, meet tight deadlines, and remain adaptable.

Good verbal and written communication skills.

Proactive problem solving and critical thinking.

Foster a positive and collaborative working environment.

Attentive to details and appreciative of luxury goods market.

Flexible: willingness to participate in all activities (from lifting and moving boxes to working late hours when dressing windows).

Additional information

Must be available to work full-time (40 hours per week). This includes nights and weekends when required.

Must have Monday to Sunday flexibility to work.

Must have typical hours of 7am to 4pm.

Available to start immediately.
