OverviewShifts available Monday - Sunday, 7:00am - 10:00pm.

B&Q West Thurrock.

UK Notional hourly rate £13.21 per hour (inclusive of a 50p per hour store specific location allowance). Increasing to £13.60 from 1 Apr 2026.

Part time – 20 hours per week, 3 month fixed term contract.

Responsibilities

Provide expert product advice and assist customers with home improvement projects.

Drive sales and help customers choose the right products.

Manage stock, set up displays and keep the store looking attractive.

Perform paint‐mixing and timber‐cutting tasks when trained.

Maintain a high standard of customer service.

Requirements

Friendly, outgoing and enthusiastic about home improvement.

Great team player and able to work flexible rota including weekends, evenings and bank holidays.

Eager to learn new technology and ways of working.

Experience or interest in sales and retail customer service preferred.
