About MAXIS GBNMAXIS GBN was co-founded in 1998 by MetLife and AXA, two of the largest and most trusted insurance companies in the world. In 2016, MAXIS GBN became a joint venture and established itself in London with offices at Monument where we employ an international team of 100 staff, with another 100 based in eight countries around the world.
At MAXIS GBN, we work with multinational companies to help them deliver employee benefits (EB) to their staff around the world. We are a market leader in the global EB space, offering global pooled and captive solutions as well as comprehensive wellness packages.
We do this through working with a network of local insurance companies (members) in over 100 markets globally. More than 80% of our member insurers are owned by MetLife or AXA, the other 20% are independent local insurers – all are experts in their markets and help us to find the right solutions for the local offices of multinationals and their employees based there.
Our London headquarters houses support services from global marketing to finance to client reporting and underwriting while working with colleagues based in locations across Europe, the USA and Asia.
Summary of ResponsibilitiesOur Marketing, PR & Communications team is looking for an experienced communications professional to lead the planning and delivery of our internal communications at MAXIS GBN. You will play a key role in employee engagement and strategic communications, project comms, our CSR initiative 'MAXIS for Good' and will manage our bi-annual all-staff conference, the MAXIS Meet‐Up.
You will work closely with the People team, CEO, Executive Committee and teams around the business to ensure consistent, high‐quality internal communication across the business. You will report to the Senior Director, Marketing & Chief of Staff.
Role responsibilities:
Manage strategic internal communications, working closely with the CEO to deliver the annual strategy update and quarterly Town Hall meetings
Work in partnership with the People team to deliver employee engagement communications via the OneMAXIS newsletter, employee benefits updates, wellbeing webinars and regular team updates across the business
Plan, manage and execute the bi-annual all‐staff event, the MAXIS Meet‐Up, ensuring the event runs to budget, builds employee engagement and understanding of the company strategy. The next Meet‐Up will take place in September 2027
Manage the OneMAXIS intranet portal, ensuring it is an effective tool for MAXIS staff to find all company information
Own communications for MAXIS for Good, our global CSR initiative, organising campaigns throughout the year and during our volunteering month
Provide internal communications support to the business, including Transformation & Change for large, cross‐functional projects, ensuring information isn't siloed
Support communications with our network members and other external communications as required
Person SpecificationKey skills required:
Experience in an internal or external communications role, ideally within an international organisation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, taking complicated information and making it easy to digest and understand for diverse global workforce
Experience managing large‐scale international events end‐to‐end, working with suppliers, budgeting, agenda planning and more
Confident working directly with senior leaders to deliver strategic communications
Strong project and campaign management skills
Technical skills including Content Management Systems, email marketing, photo and video editing, webinar tools, Microsoft Office, Monday.com
Additional skills for success:
Contentful CMS knowledge
Experience using Pardot and Salesforce
French or Spanish speaking a plus, but not a requirement
