Salary: £30,024 per annum
Hours: 36.25 per week
Contract: 2-year placement
Location: Rochdale, with occasional working from Manchester City Centre

About the RoleThe Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) is a statutory body of the ten local authorities of Greater Manchester and a directly elected Mayor. This role supports the Manchester Districts and their Place Based Directorship, contributing to planning and development surveying, regeneration, economic development, building control, environmental health, housing and housing strategy, climate change, delivery and planning policy.

Qualifications
Graduate in a relevant discipline.
Strong communication, problem‐solving, persuasive, and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities
Support the Manchester Districts in planning and development surveying.
Contribute to regeneration and economic development projects.
Assist with building control, environmental health, housing, and climate change initiatives.
Support the delivery of planning policy and strategic objectives.
Engage with partners and stakeholders to advance the community's interests.
