Group DescriptionThe EMEA Financial Sponsors Group is responsible for covering a broad range of large and mid‐market private equity investors operating in EMEA. The team partners with industry, and product and country teams to provide comprehensive coverage to its client base.

What is the Position?Evercore seeks to hire an off‐cycle intern for its Financial Sponsors Group located in London, UK (the "Intern").

Primary ResponsibilitiesAs part of the Financial Sponsors Group, the Intern will be focused on managing large amounts of data related to coverage of our private equity clients. The data includes updating fund sizes, assets in each fund's portfolios, asset acquisitions and disposals, fund‐raises, Evercore relationships with key client contacts, and asset targeting lists. The Intern will have access to information resources such as PitchBook and Preqin. The Intern must coordinate with report to the Directors and Associates in the Financial Sponsors Group. In addition, will work on ad‐hoc industry analyses, contribute to marketing materials and industry digests. We are focused on modernizing and digitizing our processes and analysis in line with industry best practices. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving an important growth area for Evercore by synthesizing data from multiple sources at scale and extracting valuable information for our bankers and our clients.

Specific QualificationsThe intern must be self‐directed, creative and resourceful. We are seeking a highly efficient, energetic, flexible and organized candidate with the ability to multitask.
