The Check-In team is part of the Operations division and plays a vital role in delivering a smooth, efficient, and customer-focused airport journey. The team supports thousands of passengers each day, ensuring check-in processes run seamlessly, from desk operations to self-service kiosks and bag drop facilities.
Operating in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment, the team focuses on Continuous Improvement, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
As a Check-In Data Intern, you will support the optimisation of check-in operations through data analysis, reporting improvements, and insight generation. You will work closely with operational teams, IT, and B usiness A nalytics to help enhance performance, reduce queues, and improve the overall passenger experience.

About our Recruitment ProcessThe recruitment process for this role will be a two stage process. The first interview will be a Teams interview with our Terminal Operations and Passenger Service Manager and one of our Capacity Managers. We'll ask questions about your experience, motivation in applying for the role and how the role aligns with your studies & career aspirations. Successful candidates will then be invited to the second stage interview, which will involve a take home task which we will ask you to present on during the second, in person interview.

What you'll be doing
Working with the Check-In Operation andAnalyticsteams to improve data reporting and operational insights
Creating dashboards and automated reports to simplify performance tracking across key metrics such ascheck-in demand, deskand kioskutilisation,airline performance, and customer satisfaction
Reviewing and developing existing datasets and reporting processes,identifyingopportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Supporting data analysis for operational change projects aimed at improving passenger flow and service delivery
Assistingin monitoring performance trends and providing recommendations to support Continuous Improvement initiatives
What we're looking forTo apply for this role, you'll need to be a student who is currently enrolled in College or University, studying a STEM related degree
A problem solver who can create data led solutions to a variety of problems.
Youwillbe requiredto engage with a variety of teams across the business including ITand BusinessAnalytics.RepresentingEAL to third parties. Werequirea team playerwho canwork well with otherswhodemonstratesexcellent written and verbal communications skills.
We are also looking for a self-motivated individual with a "cando" outlook.
Strong experience with Excel
The following items would be nice to have but are not essential for the role:
Tableau – understanding of this software is desired
Python – understanding of this software is desired
An interest in aviation isdesired
