SUMMARY OF ROLE:Due to continuing expansion, CField is seeking a motivated MEP Graduate to join our existing team in Edinburgh. The candidate will be responsible for assisting the MEP department in pre-construction, procurement, design and operations. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual to join a company committed sustainable growth with a strong pipeline of work across the UK.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise MEP subcontractors onsite and manage installation schedules
Conduct inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations
Assist in resolving technical issues and conflicts related to MEP systems
Maintain accurate project documentation
Ensure timely delivery of MEP components
Provide technical guidance and support to project teams
Review and interpret MEP design documents and specifications
Track and manage the flow of technical information between Design Teams and specialist subcontractors
Ensure MEP works are delivered and implemented to approved designs and specifications
Monitor on-site installations and ensure stage checks are completed to required standards
Comply with all relevant CField internal processes not limited to but including EHS and HR policies
Maintain processes and documentation in MEP department
Attend weekly project review meetings
Submit weekly project progress reports
KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
A relevant third level degree or professional qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or building services
Proficient in (eg. AutoCAD, Revit MEP software)
Strong understanding of building codes, safety standards and construction processes and procedures
Highly organised with the ability to work to tight deadlines
Excellent attention to detail
Proficient IT skills with good working knowledge of MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficient in Microsoft Office
