OverviewKickstart your career in supporting adult skills development and apprenticeships with the City Corporation.

As our new Business Administrator Apprentice, you'll join a supportive team working to implement London's skills strategy, equipping adults with the confidence and experience needed to thrive in their diverse careers and communities. You'll gain hands‐on experience across a range of projects, from assisting on adult community projects to apprenticeships while working closely with the wider team.

Administration a wide range of duties to support the team of tutors, trainers and other administrators is a vital function in every organisation, so the skills and knowledge you develop here will be highly valued.

This apprenticeship role is based at Guildhall and will last 18 months (including time to complete your End Point Assessment).

Qualifications and Eligibility

16 or over by the end of the summer holidays

Not in full‐time education at the time of applying

Non‐UK citizen: permission from the UK government to live in the UK (not for educational purposes) and have been ordinarily resident in the UK for at least the previous three years before the start of the apprenticeship.

Evidence of English and Maths GCSE Grade C/4 or equivalent

Prior learning: If you have prior learning e.g., a similar or higher level of qualification like the apprenticeship we will be unable to consider your application as your prior learning will not meet the funding rule criteria. If you have prior experience in a similar role to the apprenticeship your experience may also exclude you from an apprenticeship.

Selection for the apprenticeship is on the basis of suitability and commitment to the apprenticeship, not qualification.
