About The Role Are you looking for an exciting opportunity, working within a unique retail environment for a market leading business? Arco has a fantastic opportunity for a part‐time Branch Sales Advisor to join the team, working from our store in Leeds. As a Branch Sales Advisor you will deliver high levels of customer service, and actively drive sales activity, improving customer loyalty and growing Arco's profitability.The Branch Sales Advisor role is a part‐time position for 20 hours a week over 5 days. The days and hours of work are Monday to Friday, 12:00 to 16:00.Don't worry if you don't know much about the health and safety industry or personal protective equipment (PPE), as we'll teach you all there is to know, and provide you with a platform to learn, develop and grow.Key Responsibilities Carrying out outbound calls to customers to build relationships and drive revenue through accountsSupporting the Territory Account Manager with local customersProviding high levels of customer service and building strong customer relationshipsSupporting opening accounts, providing quotations and customer account managementDriving sales through customer calling, leaflet distribution and other sales activityManaging cash in line with company policies and procedures including cashing up, processing refunds and supporting banking collectionFollowing merchandising principles, including pricing, campaign set‐ups and ensuring product displays are well maintainedAssisting with control of stock, including processing deliveries, click‐and‐collect and actioning weekly stock countsSupporting branch operations including stock preparation, stock management and restocking of customer sites (where required)Complying with and being an advocate for Health & Safety and Security at all timesBenefits A starting salary of £12.60 per hour plus bonus32 days holiday inclusive of bank holidaysOpportunity to purchase 5 additional days annual leave each calendar year (subject to qualifying salary)2 fully paid Community Volunteering days (pro‐rata for part time) every yearAn excellent pension and Life Assurance schemeA huge range of high‐street retailer discounts to help with the cost of living via MyArco PerksFree, 24‐hour access to our Employee Assistance ProgrammeAccess to our Learning Management System, to support your personal and career developmentLong‐term service awards – we're proud to have employees who have worked for us for 40 yearsAbout You Experience of working face‐to‐face with customers, preferably in a retail environmentExperience of sales, either over the phone or face‐to‐faceStrong IT skills; Microsoft Word, Excel etc. And the ability to learn new softwareUK driving licence is advantageous but not a necessity for this roleAbout Us With a proud 140‐year legacy, you'll be part of something special when you join the UK's leading safety experts.
