Job Location: UK – Crawley - West Sussex Employment: full-time, 12 month FTCReporting to: Operations DirectorOverview: Acron Aviation Solutions are 'Creating Safer Skies'. From our computer-based solutions all the way to our state-of-the-art Full Flight Simulators (FFS), improving the training experience and creating safer skies is at the heart of everything we do. Our Fixed Training Devices (FTD) and FFS feature aircraft-specific flight decks, offering the form, fit, feel, and function of the actual aircraft. Our airline pilot training systems cover the complete training spectrum; whether it's systems knowledge, procedure training or jet transition we have the solutions for every airline.We are looking for an Industrial Placement Candidate (IPC) with a proactive 'can do' attitude to work in our Operations team. You will be responsible for providing support to the global Acron Aviation Commercial Training Solutions (CTS) business in a challenging fast-paced environment. The IPC will be required to assist in the bidding and capture management of projects across the business units throughout the entire Project Life Cycle, ensuring comprehensive, competitive and customer-focused bid proposals are produced for a wide-ranging variety and complexity for new business opportunities.The Operations team collaborates with every aspect of the business, in order to create solutions and respond to customers' every needs. The IPC will gain insight and exposure to engineering, supply chain, sales, project management, finance, commercial, and marketing to name but a few of the key functions with whom interactions occur on a daily basis. Other key aspects include but are not limited to, influencing key stakeholders and overseeing presentation to C‐suite to obtain approvals. EV charging stations)What the Role Will Involve: Providing support to the Project Management and Operations teams, helping out with various tasks, running reports, and various other adhoc activities, including collaborations with a variety of stakeholders, typically involving Sales, Commercial, Finance, Operations, In‐Service Support.Manage Acron Aviation functional teams to review customer requirements and ensure an accurate scope of effort for completion.Prepare and manage handover to contract delivery with key stakeholders, such as technical teams, project management, customer support, and sales account executive for successful project launch.Support the governance process to obtain appropriate approvals in a timely manner.Maintain detailed records of all bids and proposals, including keeping documentation up to date as required.Facilitate value‐focused solutions to meet bespoke customer requirements in conjunction with Subject Matter Experts and key stakeholders.Maintain high ethical standards and perform duties in accordance with all company policies and procedures.Any other duties as may be required to meet or enhance the objectives of the business capture function.What You'll Bring: Must be studying in a relevant degree field - Business Management, Finance with Business Management module.Computer literate – good understanding and experience with Microsoft Office Suite.Affinity to detail, with excellent interpersonal communication skills and fully proficient in English (written and spoken).Commercial awareness and understanding of risk management.
