Role OverviewWe are looking for a motivated ICT Helpdesk Specialist to support the organisation's day-today technology environment and keep our teams productive. In this role, you will provide frontline technical support, assist with device deployment, and help maintain IT systems across our offices. You will work closely with internal teams and vendors to ensure reliable IT operations and a positive user experience.

This role is suitable for individuals who enjoy troubleshooting technical problems, supporting users, and working with enterprise technologies in a multi-office IT environment.

What You Will Do

Provide Level-1 IT support across local and regional offices, including Malaysia and China, and assist with Level-2 troubleshooting for more complex technical issues when required.

Troubleshoot issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, and common software applications.

Assist users via remote tools, phone, or in-person support to resolve technical issues.

Deploy and maintain IT equipment including desktops, laptops, printers, smartphones, and peripherals.

Install operating systems, applications, and system updates.

Support meeting room technology such as video conferencing and presentation systems.

Monitor helpdesk requests and perform routine system maintenance tasks.

Maintain records of IT equipment, software, and asset inventory.

Provide support for network connectivity, telephony systems, and CCTV infrastructure, coordinating with vendors when required.

Follow company IT security policies and operational procedures while delivering professional support to end-users.

Exposure to the Following Technologies Is an Advantage

Windows Active Directory and identity management (Azure / Entra)

Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft 365 administration

Networking technologies such as DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VLAN, and VPN

Enterprise IT asset management and operational governance tools

Telephony and video surveillance infrastructure

IT security practices and compliance standards

Supporting Windows and macOS environments

What Helps You Succeed

0–3+ years of experience in IT helpdesk or technical support, with the ability to perform basic troubleshooting and assist with more complex technical issues when required.

Diploma, Higher Nitec, or equivalent qualification in Information Technology or a related field.

Basic understanding of Windows OS, Microsoft 365 applications, computer hardware, and networking fundamentals.

Strong troubleshooting mindset and willingness to learn.

Ability to analyse problems logically and investigate issues before escalating them.

Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Willing to support standby duties or occasional after-hours maintenance.
