OverviewPosition: Experienced Customer Service Advisor

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

We are a large, professional independent garage with a strong reputation for quality workmanship and outstanding customer service. Due to an exciting expansion, we are looking for an experienced Customer Service Advisor to join our large, friendly, welcoming team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic individual who thrives upon working in a fast-paced environment and that takes pride in delivering excellent customer service to achieve the best possible customer experience for our clients. The successful applicant will have experience within the automotive repair sector, be it from a main dealership or independent background.

The RoleAs a Service Advisor, you will be the key link between our customers and the workshop team, ensuring a smooth and professional experience from booking through to vehicle collection.

Your responsibilities will include:

Handling incoming customer enquiries via phone, email, and in person

Booking vehicles in for Mots, service, maintenance, diagnostics, and repair work

Providing excellent customer service throughout the entire customer journey

Liaising with the workshop and technicians to ensure smooth daily operations

Keeping customers updated on vehicle progress and additional work required

Managing booking schedules and updating customer records and job details

Process our advanced digital vehicle reports and explaining works required in a clear, professional manner

What We're Looking For

Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar automotive customer service role

Excellent communication and organisational skills

A confident and professional telephone manner

Strong customer-first mindset

Ability to multi-task and stay organised in a busy environment

A positive, reliable, and professional attitude

Good computer literacy and administrative skills
