Job description

OverviewTradePoint Customer Advisor – Part Time (18.75 hours per week) on a 3‐Month Fixed‐Term Contract. Shifts available Monday to Sunday, 7:00 am – 9:00 pm at B&Q Newry.

UK Notional hourly rate £12.71 per hour.

Increasing to £13.10 per hour from 1st April 2026.

What the job involvesThe heart of the Trade Point counter, you'll engage with a range of trade members daily. You'll take ownership of your Trade Point members, build relationships through conversation, and recommend the right products and services to meet their business needs.

Qualifications and abilities

  • Excellent communicator and team worker, able to adapt your approach with different colleagues and customers.
  • Ability to build relationships and spot new business opportunities.
  • Enjoy supporting trade members to gain value through promotions and signing up to our trade loyalty scheme.
  • Willing to develop skills through training and share learning with others.
  • Flexible to work on a rota that includes weekends, evenings, and bank holidays.
