Location: Cheltenham Town FC Training Ground, Cheltenham, GL51 9RXWorking Hours: 12hr contractWorking Pattern: Monday – 5-7pm; Tuesday – 5:30-8pm; Friday – 5:30-8:30pm; Sunday – Home/Away Fixtures (Home 9:30am-1:30pm). Additional travel for away fixtures paid at casual rateWork base: Cheltenham Town FC Training Ground, Cheltenham, GL51 9RX / All Saints Academy, GL51 0WH / Evesham UTD FC, WR11 2LZ / University of Gloucestershire, GL2 9HWRequired Travel: Regular travel to fixtures, meetings and other events in conjunction with the performance of the duties detailed below.Overall Purpose of the Job The successful individual will be responsible for working with predominantly Foundation Phase teams however provide support to Youth Phase as necessary, providing pitch-side first aid/trauma management during academy training and fixtures on evenings. They will liaise with the Lead 9s-16s Sports Therapist to cover all Schoolboy age groups and work under the guidance of our Academy Senior Physiotherapist.Key Tasks and Responsibilities Key responsibilities include emergency pitch-side first aid, the diagnosis and treatment of injuries, early injury rehabilitation and management, assisting other medical staff when required, and liaising with coaches and family regarding the wellbeing of players.About The Candidate Required Experience Match and Training Sports Therapist experienceKnowledge and/or experience of at least 3 of the following:Experience working with children in an elite football club environmentExperience working in a sporting environmentExperience in the recognition and management of paediatric musculoskeletal conditionsExperience in pitch side sports trauma managementICT experience of PMA, excel, word and any other software as required to carry out the duties required for the job.Personal Qualities Have a flexible attitude to workAbility to work on own initiative and as part of a teamHave a polite and courteous mannerBe organised and have good time management skillsThe ability to meet stringent deadlinesBe able to adapt to different and changing situationsHave the drive and enthusiasm to set high standards and achieve company objectivesHave a personable approachOther Requirements Full clean driving licenceDBS clearanceAbout The Club Cheltenham Town F.C.
