About the RoleYou will work collaboratively with colleagues in UKSRO to support the dynamic needs of events across the university calendar, preparing presentations about your time at university and key tips for new students. As part of our recruitment activities, you will attend UCAS exhibitions and careers fairs across the country, promoting and representing Bath Spa University.

With our events team you will assist in the planning and delivery of key university recruitment events such as open days, offer holder days, campus tours and school visits whilst monitoring the effectiveness of your contribution and providing information to colleagues based on insights and learnings from your time speaking with prospective students.

You will also contribute to the planning, organisation and delivery of aspiration and attainment‐raising outreach and transition programmes that support the University's effective Access and Participation Plan.

(This is a 18 Month Full Time Fixed Term Role)

About YouHaving graduated from Bath Spa University in 2025 (or being due to graduate before September 2026) you will have recent administrative experience covering a wide range of activities/services and be confident in a customer facing role. We are looking for someone passionate about university recruitment and outreach, so experience working on events or supporting young people is important.

Being able to communicate clearly is key: you will need to be able to communicate effectively both internally and with external partners in a variety of mediums. You will also need to be confident in communicating through a variety of methods including face to face, email and over the phone.

Our busy events diary can include weekend and evening work, as well as visiting schools not accessible by public transport, so a willingness to travel and a full UK driving licence are essential.

Understanding and interest in recruitment/events/outreach

Experience working with young people or in a mentoring role

Additional Information

A full UK driving license is essential for this role.

The post holder will be required to work occasionally at weekends or evenings and will be required to travel frequently and transport resources, often in areas or at times when public transport is not available.
