About The RoleWe are offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to join the Quality and Governance Team, in Academic Quality within Academic Services. The Quality Manager will work alongside the Governance Manager and the Head of Academic Quality to lead the next phase of the team's development. This integrated team is responsible for delivering high‐quality support to Faculties and academic partners to ensure the effective implementation of the University's quality assurance and enhancement framework. The Quality Manager is a member of the Academic Services' senior management team and contributes to the strategic development of the service.

Responsibilities

Lead the ongoing development of academic regulations, policies and procedures to enhance effectiveness and efficiency and support the delivery of user‐focused, integrated services.

Review and develop institution‐wide quality frameworks and processes and implement continuous process improvement.

Manage and develop complex teams through periods of change, embedding new processes and ways of working.

Qualifications

Experience as an academic quality manager or similar, with a professional background related to higher education academic quality.

Proven experience in team workload planning, objective setting and managing a team in a flexible, adaptable environment.

Excellent interpersonal, influencing and communication skills, with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with Faculty stakeholders and a wide range of UK and international partners.
