They facilitate and focus on providing ABA therapy to their student (Applied Behaviour Analysis) – an evidence based therapy

What the role as a Trainee Therapy Assistant entails:

You will be providing ABA therapy to the children (training is provided)

You will facilitate a safe and secure environment for learning to take place

You will encourage students to achieve the best they can academically, while also adding to their personal growth

You will keep track of their academic achievements

Have a good understanding of the importance of safeguarding

Qualities you will need to be a Trainee Therapy ABA Assistant:

Being kind, caring and compassionate

Having a determination to make a difference in the lives of the students

Be patient and willing to adapt your approach to meet the needs of the students

Experience working with children and especially children with SEN will be advantageous but not essential

You will need an enhanced DBS check, but don't worry if you don't have one, we can facilitate your application
